Eligibility

To enrol for our RSA and RCG short course, students must be at least 17 years of age and residents of New South Wales. Students must not currently hold a valid RSA or RCG competency card. There are no entry requirements for this course. However, prior to enrolment, students are required to provide;

• USI (Unique Student Identifier),
• Photo identification,
• Medicare card, and
• LLN (language, literacy and numeracy assessment).

Virtual RSA and RCG Courses

For virtual options, please get in touch with us. Students applying to enrol in Virtual RSA and/or RCG courses must have: 

• A computer with a webcam and internet connection
• Microsoft Word to complete the assessment
• Proficiency in computer skills.

How to obtain your RSA & RCG. competency cards

1.Apply online

Apply now to begin your enrolment application with J2S Training Solutions. Have ready your photo ID, medicare card, and USI number. If you need any help with your enrolment application, please call us at 1300 818 121 or email us at info@j2s.edu.au. You will be informed when your enrolment has been confirmed.

2. Attend class

Attend both days of the face-to-face course and successfully complete the two units of competencies:

• SITHFAB021 Provide responsible service of alcohol, and
• SITHGAM022 Provide responsible gambling services.

3. Earn your Statement of Attainment

Within one business day of successfully completing the course and earning a Statement of Attainment, J2S Training Solutions will lodge your completion with Liquor & Gaming NSW. To receive your RSA and/or RCG competency cards from Liquor & Gaming NSW, you must complete steps 4-6.

4. Receive your RCG Interim Certificate 

Liquor & Gaming NSW will email you a link to your RCG online assessment. Once you have completed and passed the online assessment, Liquor & Gaming NSW will email your RCG Interim Certificate. 

5. Receive your RSA Interim Certificate 

J2S Training Solutions will receive your RSA Interim Certificate from Liquor & Gaming NSW. We will email you your RSA Interim Certificate.

6. Apply for your competency cards

Take your RSA Interim Certificate, RCG Interim Certificate, your required identification documents, and the fees to Service NSW. Find a Service NSW nearest you.

Course Fees

• RSA (1 day): $300
• RCG (1 day): $250
• Both RSA and RCG (2 days): $500 (Save $50!) 

Fees must be paid prior to training. Your invoice will be emailed to you after your enrolment has been processed.
