Diploma of Business

Our BSB50120 – Diploma of Business qualification would apply to individuals with various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators. Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. Conversely, this course may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities. Upon successfully completing this nationally recognised qualification, you will be able to:

  • Organise Meetings and Business Travel;

  • Address Customer Needs; and

  • Coordinate Business Records.


Successful completion of the BSB50120 – Diploma of Business may lead to employment opportunities, such as:

  • Administration Manager;

  • Executive Officer; or

  • Risk Management Consultant.

Please note: This course provides skills and knowledge to the industry standard, but does not guarantee a job.


There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, prior to

enrolment students are required to provide their Unique Student

Identifier and photo identification. Prospective students may be required to complete a language, literacy and numeracy assessment.



We use a range of assessment methods for this qualification, including:

  • Short answers;

  • Projects;

  • Activities; and

  • Workplace Observation or Observation in a Simulated Workplace.


This qualification can be completed in twelve months. The volume of learning offered by J2S Training Solutions may vary per student depending on their existing skills and knowledge. More experienced students are likely to complete
the course in a shorter period of time. Duration may vary depending on Credit Transfer [CT] or Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL]. Students can apply for CT or RPL at the time of enrolment.


Delivery of training may take differing forms, including Face-to-Face and Online, dependent on the requirements of the client or the needs of the cohort.

  • BSBTEC404 - Use digital technologies to collaborate in a work environment (E)

  • BSBTWK401 - Build and maintain business relationships (E)

  • BSBTWK502 - Manage team effectiveness (E)

  • BSBXCM501 - Lead communication in the workplace (C)

Fees & Charges


This course is available on a fee-for-service basis:

  • $6,000

  • J2S Training Solutions does not accept upfront payments of more than $1,500. If a student’s fee is more than this amount, the support of a flexible payment plan will be offered to students.


  • Deferment Fee (administration charges) $50

  • Replacement of Testamur/ statement of attainment / Qualification Certificate $50

  • Repeat of unit (Third attempt onwards Per unit) $150
