in Driving Operations
Our Certificate III in Driving Operations qualification is for those looking to take on driving operation job roles within the Transport and Logistics Industry. The course is designed to educate students on the aspects of driving roles including legal responsibilities and obligations, principles of safe loading and securing cargo, industry-standards required of drivers and other areas such as accident and emergency procedures, to ensure the student can fulfil a relevant driving operations role, safely and confidently. Successful achievement of the licensing units within the qualification will enable students to upgrade to a heavy vehicle licence or higher class licence, in line with NSW licensing and regulatory requirements.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Student must hold a valid P2 licence (green P’s) and have held the licence for 24 months, including a P1 licence (red P’s). Prior to enrolment students are required to provide their Unique Student Identifier1 and photo identification. Prospective students may be required to complete a language, literacy and numeracy assessment.
ASSESSMENT
We use a range of assessment methods for this qualification, including:

Short answers;

Projects;
-
Activities; and
-
Workplace Observation or Observation in a Simulated Workplace.

DURATION AND MODE
Duration:
This qualification can be completed in twelve months. The volume of learning offered by J2S Training Solutions may vary per student depending on their existing skills and knowledge. More experienced students are likely to complete
the course in a shorter period of time. Duration may vary depending on Credit Transfer [CT] or Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL]. Students can apply for CT or RPL at the time of enrolment.
Delivery:
Delivery of training may take differing forms, including Face-to-Face, Work-based, Blended and Traineeships, dependent on the requirements of the Client or the needs of the cohort.
This qualification will be superseded in November 2022 and as part of your studies; you will be transitioned to the new qualification TLI31221Certificate III in Driving Operations. If you do not complete your studies by November 2022 you may need to complete additional assessment to complete your qualification You will be advised prior to applying any additional fees or requirements
